Great PC Game Software
Sure, we all know about games from Popcap and Zynga. I mean unless you completely shun Facebook you probably know all about those two game companies. However, you might be surprised to know that there is more to the world of video games than Bejewelled, Angry Birds, Farmville and the like. Another contender in the realm of discount pc game software is Big Fish Games. Big Fish Games has a enormous selection of cool pc games and they release a brand new game every day!
Definitely my favorite thing about Big Fish Games is that none of their video games have any advertisements or viruses in them. So, during gameplay you aren’t zapped with annoying ads and spyware that you will never be able to get off of your computer. Also, you can test out any of the games for an hour for free! So, you can make sure you are going to enjoy the game before you spend any money on it.
Maybe you only like a particular type of pc game? Never fear, Big Fish has lots of categories and genres. That means, you can play mystery-themed puzzle games like “Awakening: Moonfell Wood” and “Phantasmat” or you could just while away hours with the goofy arcade action of “Tasty Planet” and “Tropical Fish Shop”. Heck, there are even buckets of variations of just Mahjong!
If you are a fan of puzzle games (some in the style of the old Sierra games) then you are going to be stoked. Mystery and puzzle games are definitely Big Fish’s strongpoint. And, let me tell you, no one else has cheap puzzle game that is anywhere near as fun as “Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles”. We’ve been playing it for days in our house!
Another crowd favorite game that lots of people have been introduced to on Facebook are marble popping games. A perfect example of this is Popcap’s Bejewelled Blitz. I definitely can’t argue that these games are incredibly addictive, but sometimes we need a little bit more variation. Well, you’ll be happy to know that Big Fish has an entire category dedicated only to marble popping games! Some of the shining stars of this category are great games like “Conga Bugs”, “Bubble Town” and “Frogs in Love”. As you might guess by the fun game names, Big Fish’s games definitely are full of light-hearted fun.
If this sounds good to you, then head on over and check out all the newest pc games that Big Fish has to offer. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
And the great news is that if you do get addicted to their amazing games (and I’m guessing that you will) then you can join the Big Fish Game Club. All club members get great benefits like access to the Daily Deal game for just $2.99 and 30% or more off all other games. But, these are only two of the great benefits. You also get access to tomorrow’s game a day earlier. Time to start making your friends jealous!

A Quick Run Down Of Emulators For The R4DS Cards
There are so many emulators for the R4 DS And The Nintendo DS, DSi and 3DS. While not all of them work perfectly, this list includes those that do. It’s through the use of an R4 DS Card that you can actually play your old games, and of course the works of the developers who make these emulators. The question with every single emulator out there is whether or not you should go out and grab every one you can find, only to try and play games from old systems that simply don’t work as they were intended to. While I always say to each their own, for me personally, I would rather download emulators and games that I know run perfectly. I don’t want to waste my time checking if a certain game works or doesn’t work. I just want to play.
The list of ds homebrew / free emulators for classic consoles below have all been tested and have proven to work with about 95% of all of the classic games for their specific systems. I should state that the list is not complete. There are just too many good working console systems out there being emulated that it would be impossible for me to cover them all in just one write up. I am focusing this list on the ones that I really like and have had no issues with. The classic game consoles that I focused on trying to play with an emulator are because these are systems that I used, and still love to play today.
1. SnesDS – The BEST Super NES (SNES) emulator money could buy – except of course you don’t have to buy it. From the very first SNES games, right up to the graphic intensive Mortal Kombat series, SnesDS runs the games, and runs them well.
2. If you love your NES more than any other system, the NesDS is the emulator of choice. It works on the R4 DS as well as the R4 3DS cards so you won’t have any problems getting it to load and play your old 8-bit games. Then NESDS is the answer. I have yet to find a game that doesn’t “just work” when I copy it over.
3. NeoPopDS – The ultimate Neo Geo Pocket emulator. The Neo Geo Pocket didn’t have a whole slew of games, and wasn’t a big hit. But the system brought some great portable versions of the games we loved on the NeoGeo. Every single games play and runs without a single glitch.
4. Stella DS – For those of you old enough to remember, StellaDS for the R4 DS card is an Atari 2600 emulator. Every single blip and beep and boxy graphics are a true rendering of what the original games looked and played like. While Ioved the NES and SNES, The 2600 was my very first game console, and as a result, it’s my favorite, the one I spent most of my time playing.
You don’t have to try just one of these emulators, you can try them all. They all work great and play all of those old games like a dream. So how to you play them? With a DS homebrew card of course. For those of us lucky enough to have a Nintendo 3DS the R4 3DS instead of the R4 DS Flash card for the Nintendo DS for you to be able to load them..
